Jaarbeurs is proud to announce that Intertraffic will expand to Southeast Asia in 2027 with the launch of Intertraffic Asia in Bangkok. Intertraffic is the world's leading platform for smart, safe and sustainable mobility. The first edition will take place from 28 to 30 April 2027.

The expansion is possible thanks to the strategic collaboration between RAI Amsterdam and VNU Asia Pacific, part of Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs. The combination of Intertraffic's international expertise and VNU Asia Pacific's strong regional market knowledge creates a powerful platform that responds to the fast-growing mobility challenges in Southeast Asia.

"At Jaarbeurs , we are extremely proud of this development," says Jeroen van Hooff, President & CEO of Jaarbeurs. "Thanks to the tremendous support of RAI Amsterdam, we are able to bring Intertraffic to our second home in Bangkok, together with our colleagues from VNU Asia Pacific. In doing so, we are connecting global leaders in smart, safe and sustainable mobility with one of the world's most dynamic regions. Southeast Asia faces unique challenges as well as opportunities in this area. That we are now realising this together with RAI for the second time in a short time underlines the strength of our cooperation."

With Bangkok as a strategic hub within ASEAN, Intertraffic Asia expects to become a key meeting place for policymakers, industry experts and mobility innovators from the region. The new exhibition aligns with large-scale investments in smart mobility, infrastructure, public safety and sustainable urban development.

Thanks to great cooperation and mutual trust between Jaarbeurs and RAI Amsterdam, this will take further shape. It was previously announced that Aquatech, RAI Amsterdam's leading exhibition title, will take place in Bangkok for the first time from 25 to 27 November 2026. Both launches underline the joint ambition to successfully land international knowledge platforms in fast-growing markets.
