Over 100 years of extraordinary encounters
Royal Jaarbeurs was founded in 1916 with the aim of promoting trade and industry. More than 105 years later, this mission still forms the foundation of everything we do. We organize and host a wide variety of (international) events, from meetings, workshops, and training sessions to conferences, corporate events, award ceremonies, shows, large-scale events, and trade fairs. Each year, approximately 2.3 million visitors find their way to us. Meaningful, in-person encounters are at the heart of everything we do, both live and online. How do we create these special encounters? With passion, sustainability, and innovation. It’s no coincidence that we’ve been voted 'Best conference venue of the year' multiple times by the public.

That’s actually hard to put into words. Jaarbeurs is something you need to experience, enjoy, and discover. We organize and facilitate national and international trade and consumer fairs, conferences, events, and meetings. Both live and online. We serve the most delicious dishes in our own restaurants, provide a stage for spectacular productions at the Beatrix Theater, and act as a springboard for startups.
Jaarbeurs is the place for attending and organising special meetings. Our event location in Utrecht is suitable for a wide range of activities. From meetings, workshops and training courses to conferences, business events, award ceremonies, shows and large-scale events and exhibitions.

Sustainability is about taking responsibility for our environment, energy use, resources and surroundings. It is central to everything we do. We continuously make careful considerations and see sustainability as an integral part of every event. Our goal is to be carbon neutral by 2030. To achieve this, we are taking clear steps: using as many circular materials as possible and doing everything we can to reduce waste and combat food waste. In 2022, we won the international UFI Sustainability Award for making our hospitality offerings more sustainable and for the way food is managed within Jaarbeurs. In 2024, we were finalists for the same award for our sustainability initiatives at various trade shows.
