If you want to host a luxurious party, the theatre is a top choice. It's great to combine with a live show in the theatre hall. Naturally, there are other spaces you can use for themed parties, including two foyers, a lounge, bars, a restaurant, and an Expo hall

Media Plaza

Our convention centers are ideal for hosting theme parties. Media Plaza, for instance, is characterized by a modern and unique look. The Polar area with the Flame Foyer is suitable for fantastic parties. The Auditorium area with two foyers is also a fine place to host drinks.

Organising a theme party: here's how to make it successful

Planning a theme party? Great! We're ready for a fantastic celebration. A good theme party inspires people, creates a bond, and ensures guests remember the event fondly. With these tips, your theme party will be a great success:

Flower power, the seventies, Hawai, black & white... we've seen those themes by now. We can do better! The most fun parties are the ones where you have to think about the outfit for a while. And also where people are given the space to do something crazy. The forest, for example. Where you can dress up as a forest ranger or a field mouse. Also think about the decoration of the space. Or choose the company as the theme, where you give people the choice to come as their colleague. Or as the CEO. The computer. Or that weird plant in the corner. Plenty of choice.

If you are organising a theme party, then of course you need to come in with a bang. This is the moment to make a first impression. The wow factor that amazes your guests. A special entrance with costumed actors welcoming the guests, for example. A photobooth, a competition or a surprising act.

You can do a lot of cool things with food and drink. There is nothing like having the catering match the theme. Exciting cocktails and surprising appetisers make you smile. And you can go either way with them. For example, is your theme 'office'? Then serve the snacks in a small bread box.

Especially at a themed party, it is fun to capture memories. Book a photographer and videographer and capture everything on film. Also fun: a photobooth with props and other accessories they can use to capture their outfit.

Want to spice up the experience even more? Then organise different activities that fit the theme. Something with VR or AR glasses, for example. Or a competition for the best outfit. A themed escaperoom or an act or workshop that ties in with the evening.
