Where are your attendees coming from? The event location can be a deciding factor as to whether or not they want to come. Therefore, choose a centrally located venue. That way you are accessible, no matter which means of transport the target group uses. Jaarbeurs, for example, is right next to Utrecht Central Station. We also have 3000 parking spaces and are surrounded by hotels; perfect for both national and international visitors.

Make the programme varied and interactive. Combine inspiring keynotes, choose interactive sessions, let people attend workshops or participate in panel discussions. And of course super important: plan time for networking. After all, a symposium brings together people from the same groups, who want to talk to each other.
