Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Royal Jaarbeurs: "I look back on a great year and enjoyed the richness that Jaarbeurs has to offer. There were plenty of special, inspiring and valuable encounters. We started the year traditionally with a breakfast for over a hundred international ambassadors as the start of the Vakantiebeurs and closed with spectacular events such as Disney on Ice and Circusfestival Utrecht. Trade fairs such as ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next, Cybersec Netherlands and public fair KreaDoe exceeded all expectations. I am proud of the new initiatives we have such as DigiBouw, Future Facade, Travel & Tech and the Impact Fair.

One of the highlights was the premiere of Moulin Rouge! The Musical in our Beatrix Theatre. In the summer, Jaarbeurs was the vibrant centre of Utrecht student life and the courtyard of our exhibition halls was transformed into a true festival area. Sporty Utrechters could have a ball on our indoor padel courts.

Meanwhile, our participation in the Utrecht Congress Alliance, in which we work with partners to put Utrecht on the map for hosting top international congresses, is bearing fruit. Last year, we welcomed a record number of top (international) congresses and meetings, such as the Future Green Cities World Congress and the WHO Congress."
