Shedding new light on your training

Of course, you can hold a training session at your own office. But choosing an external location is often a smarter choice—it literally puts the material in a new light. With over a century of experience, we know exactly what works—and what doesn’t—for trainings, conferences, and events. If you want, we proactively collaborate with you to ensure your training is a success. We prepare the room layout as you wish, so all you and your participants need to do is find a seat. Plus, our plug & play rooms make it easy to start right away—just plug in your equipment and go.

5 tips for organising a training

A successful training course has a few characteristics: it inspires and motivates participants, for example. It spurs them to action. Or encourages them to take a different path. Either way, a successful training depends not only on the content. The location is also essential. A few tips for organising training.

Ask yourself what participants should have learned or mastered by the end. By setting clear goals, you can better design the training.

Based on the purpose, you will also know what kind of venue you need. For example, do you want an inspiring space (like a room in Supernova) or are you looking for more of a setting like a classroom (like a MeetUp room)? In addition, it is also important to consider parking facilities, are there enough parking spaces available at the training space?

No one is made to sit still and listen non-stop. So schedule plenty of breaks and interactive moments.

Provide tasty snacks or lunch and plenty of drinks. Indeed, hungry and thirsty people pay less attention.

Are you planning to run training sessions more often? Then ask your participants for feedback. What went well and what could be improved? This will help when organising the next edition.
