Media Plaza

Our modern conference centre is perfect for networking events. Media Plaza has two main areas, Polar and Auditorium, each with various rooms and their own foyers. The Barzone, with its striking design and spacious layout, is ideal for networking receptions, parties or drinks. Alternatively, choose the Flame Foyer, whose rounded, warm design encourages interaction between guests.

3 tips for organising a networking meeting

We could write books full of it: colour psychology at events. Use the colour green at your networking meeting. For example, in the decoration. With this, you can create a calm and inviting atmosphere. After all, green is known for its calming and reassuring effects. This makes people feel safe and relaxed. It encourages participation in conversations and activities. And that comes in handy during workshops, brainstorming sessions and ... yes: networking meetings.

If you want to encourage interaction, it is smart to place high standing tables instead of traditional seating. After all, this promotes an informal and dynamic atmosphere. An atmosphere where people talk and network easily. It encourages spontaneous conversations and creates a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone at your networking meeting.

Are you going to organise an event with a dinner? Then choose a walking dinner rather than a traditional seated dinner. This is because it gives more freedom to your participants to walk around and therefore meet more people. It creates a good atmosphere that encourages interaction. Make sure there is a good balance between standing and sitting areas and set up enough tables. This way, people can take a seat from time to time and also put down their snack or drink.
