Utrecht/Zoetermeer, 10 December 2021 - TechiShow, the trade fair for production technology, will shift to 30 August to 2 September 2022. The Federation of Manufacturing Technology (FPT-VIMAG), owner of the TechniShow, and the Koninklijke Jaarbeurs as organiser have decided to do so in close consultation. ESEF Maakindustrie, the trade fair for engineering, product development and subcontracting, will also shift to these dates. Both exhibitions were scheduled for March 2022, but due to the long delivery times of machines combined with the uncertainty about the duration of the government's current COVID-19 measures, this decision has already been taken now.

André Gaalman, president of FPT-VIMAG: "FPT-VIMAG has been organising a successful TechniShow for its members and the industry for 65 years. In 2022, we will do so again, taking into account government regulations and safety of our people."

Albert Arp, CEO of Royal Jaarbeurs: "We noticed too much uncertainty in the market about the TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie in March, given the long delivery times for the exhibitions. Fortunately, we can move well to a date in autumn 2022. Both sectors are really on the rise and really want to see each other live again given the huge opportunities in the sector. With the relocation, we certainly have more guarantee that we can put on a show where everything can be properly admired and the good conversation can also take place in a casual way."

ESEF Manufacturing

ESEF Maakindustrie is also shifting to 30 August to 2 September 2022. Richard Schuitema of Koninklijke Metaalunie: "Taking the decision now to move the ESEF Maakindustrie and TechniShow shows realism and also courage. At the same time, it gives exhibitors more certainty that they will be able to safely participate in the fair and receive their business contacts at a later date."

The websites of both exhibitions, www.technishow.nl and www.maakindustrie.nl, provide information for exhibitors and visitors on how the exhibition organisers are facilitating the shift.

The Jaarbeurs considers for each fair or event, in close consultation with the authorities, whether the meeting can take place safely. More information about what the Jaarbeurs does in this area can be found atjaarbeurs.
