360° exhibition 'Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience' in the Netherlands for the first time
Utrecht, 20 June 2025 – From today, Jaarbeurs Koninklijke Jaarbeurs opens its doors to the 360° exhibition of Van Gogh’s masterpieces. With the ‘Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience’, visitors literally step into the world of Vincent van Gogh and are surrounded by more than 200 of his masterpieces. The paintings are brought to life through immersive projections, graphic art and virtual reality. Following successful runs in more than 50 cities worldwide, the experience can now be enjoyed in the Netherlands for the first time, exclusively in Utrecht. Jaarbeurs is proud to once again showcase its versatility: from trade and consumer fairs and business conferences to international public experiences. Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience can be seen at Jaarbeurs in Utrecht from Friday 20 June until Saturday 31 January 2026.
Ground-breaking exhibition in the heart of the country
The world of Vincent van Gogh comes to life in Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, a groundbreaking exhibition that brings together art, technology and education. Visitors embark on a visual journey through his masterpieces, from sunflowers to blossoming almond trees, and discover his legacy in an immersive and educational way. The experience is a co-production by Exhibition Hub, a global leader in immersive experiences, and Fever, the world’s leading platform for live entertainment and culture. “We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing ‘Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience’ to Utrecht, a city with a rich cultural tradition and the first city in his native country to host the exhibition. Step into Van Gogh’s world
In the impressive ‘immersive room’, visitors are surrounded by Van Gogh’s art via 360° projections; from self-portraits to his fascination with Japan. But the exhibition offers more than just spectacle: in a gallery featuring reproductions, personal letters and in-depth context, visitors gain a complete picture of Van Gogh and his life. There is also a virtual reality experience in which you can literally walk through his paintings, and a creative workshop for young visitors.
Internationally acclaimed
Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is much more than a digital exhibition; it is an interactive 360° experience in which art, education and imagination merge. In 2025, the experience was named Best Immersive Art Experience by USA TODAY. Exhibition Hub and Fever, the creators behind this production, have already captivated millions of visitors worldwide with their groundbreaking exhibitions.
