Utrecht, 6 October 2025 - During KreaDoe, the largest do-it-yourself (DIY) event in the Benelux, Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs presents a creative world first: Vullow, an innovativeve painting projector for painting techniques available to consumers in the Netherlands for the first time. From Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 October 2025, Jaarbeurs in Utrecht will once again transform into a paradise for hobbyists. For five days, tens of thousands of visitors can find inspiration, discover the latest DIY trends and shop materials for their creative projects.

World first: Vullow projection painting makes its debut in the Netherlands
An absolute world first this year is Vullow: a consumer projector specially developed to turn your own photos into paintings at home. Hans Ninaber of Vullow: “With Vullow, anyone can recreate a professional photograph in six layers – a unique opportunity to get to know this innovative technique. We’ve ensured that 100 units are coming to the Netherlands. Visitors who’d like a chance to win one can enter the prize draw via KreaDoe.”

Inspiration and experience
Alongside the world premiere of Vullow, the well-known influencer CreaChick is launching a brand-new colouring book, Jill is presenting her latest drawing journal and sticker book, and Master Pâtissier Robèrt van Beckhoven is showcasing his culinary talents. Once again, KreaDoe becomes the stage where creative minds, brands and communities come together. Marleen Rompen, KreaDoe exhibition manager: “It’s not just about the product, but about the whole creative experience. Workshops, events and communities foster encounters and connections. That is precisely what makes KreaDoe unique: the creative sector reinvents itself here.”

The trend: finding joy and tranquillity in making something with your own hands
KreaDoe is known as the place where generations come together to discover, learn and create. Visitors will find countless workshops, inspiration and materials for a wide range of hobbies. From tufting and embroidery to working with laser printers: today’s trends, combined with a revival of old-fashioned hobbies. Children are also actively involved and can let their creativity run wild through play. Marleen Rompen: “There’s something special happening in the creative and DIY retail sector. People are seeking tranquillity, authenticity and the joy of making something with their own hands. KreaDoe is the place where that need becomes a reality.”

Kreadoe takes place from Wednesday 22 October to Sunday 26 October at Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
