Utrecht, 5 June 2025 - Royal Jaarbeurs will be the setting on Friday 13 June for the National Exposition by Enactus Netherlands, a national event for responsible and entrepreneurial leadership. Young changemakers from colleges and universities around the country will present their social enterprises designed to provide innovative solutions to societal challenges. The National Exposition is the prelude to the Enactus World Cup 2025 on 26 September in Bangkok.

Next generation of leaders
Enactus Netherlands is a leading network of students, higher education institutions and the Dutch business community, dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders. As a partner, Jaarbeurs provides a professional platform where education, entrepreneurship and social impact come together in a day full of inspiration and competition.

Who will represent the Netherlands on the world stage?
The student teams will present their businesses to a panel of experts comprising leading professionals from the business world, including Eugène Sterken (CEO of Deli Home), Suzanne Jungjohann (CHRO at Royal Cosun), Remko Berkel (CEO of Babilou Family Netherlands) and other experts in the fields of innovation and social impact.

The jury will judge the projects on relevance, approach, financial sustainability and likely impact. The most convincing team will be declared National Champion and represent the Netherlands at the Enactus World Cup 2025 in Bangkok, where teams from 33 countries will join forces to showcase their impact at a global level.

Jaarbeurs as a platform for impactful encounters
Jeroen van Hooff, CEO of Koninklijke Jaarbeurs and board member of Enactus Netherlands: “As a proud partner of Enactus Netherlands, Jaarbeurs provides a professional platform where young entrepreneurs can nurture and develop their ideas. In my role as a board member, I am actively committed to making my knowledge, expertise and network available to this new generation of leaders. The National Exhibition is a powerful example of how education, entrepreneurship and social impact come together – precisely the connection that we at Jaarbeurs wish to foster.”
