Utrecht, 9 October 2025 - Royal Jaarbeurs is expanding its international portfolio with a brand new trade fair: LogiNext Germany 2026. This international exhibition is the result of a joint venture with Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH and builds on the success of the Dutch trade shows ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next, which will take place this year on 4-6 November 2025 in Utrecht. With LogiNext Germany, Jaarbeurs offers a powerful platform for international professionals from the logistics sector to come together, innovate and share knowledge. The fair focuses on current themes such as supply chain management, transport, digitalisation and sustainable logistics. LogiNext Germany will take place on 14 and 15 April 2026 in Hamburg.
From Utrecht to Hamburg: a big step in internationalisation of logistics portfolio
The choice of Hamburg as the location for LogiNext Germany 2026 is a deliberate one. The city boasts one of the largest ports in Europe and acts as a hub for international trade flows. Moreover, Hamburg has a strong road, rail and air transport infrastructure. This makes it the perfect place to bridge the gap between Dutch and German companies to attract a broad international audience. Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Royal Jaarbeurs: "With LogiNext Germany 2026, we are taking a big step in the internationalisation of our logistics portfolio. By working together with Hamburg Messe, we are creating a unique synergy: we are bringing the strength of the Dutch logistics sector to Hamburg and at the same time bringing German expertise to Utrecht. This strengthens not only both trade fairs, but also the European logistics sector as a whole."
Heiko M. Stutzinger, Chief Executive Officer of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, also underlines the importance of the new cooperation: "Hamburg is the place par excellence to do this: a city with a centuries-old logistics tradition and a strategic location in Europe. With LogiNext Germany, we are offering exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad a strong new platform. We look forward to working together with Jaarbeurs to establish a trade fair that stimulates innovation and cooperation and moves the logistics sector forward."
Broad support from German logistics ecosystem
The launch of LogiNext Germany is receiving broad support from the regional network. For example, Kerstin Wendt-Heinrich, chairman of the board of Logistik-Initiative Hamburg e.V., underlines the importance of the event: "LogiNext Germany makes Hamburg an even more important logistics hub in Europe and provides an international platform for innovation and cooperation. It brings together companies, knowledge institutions and start-ups and contributes to the sustainable development of the sector." The event is also supported by Digital Hub Logistics & Commerce, Germany's innovation ecosystem for logistics and commerce. "As an ecosystem, we connect established companies with start-ups and encourage the development of new solutions along the entire value chain. With LogiNext Germany, a new format is emerging in Hamburg that makes innovations visible and brings the sector even closer together," said managing director Julian Kakarott.
LogiNext Germany will take place on 14 and 15 April 2026 in Hamburg.
