Utrecht, 23 July 2025 - Royal Jaarbeurs is launching two trade events in 2026 to meet the changing needs of the retail sector: Jewels & Luxury on 1 and 2 March, and Kitchen & Design Days from 8 to 10 March. Both trade events are the start of a new and flexible exhibition model of Trade Mart Utrecht, part of Jaarbeurs.

Dynamic exhibition model with inspiring trade events
Marieke Groot, manager Trade Mart Utrecht: "We are deliberately taking the step towards a more dynamic exhibition model, because the needs of our target groups are changing. With compact, segmented and inspiring trade events, we are better aligned with the practice of today and tomorrow." The new approach emphatically targets the Dutch and Belgian markets, where exhibitors and visitors increasingly value timeliness, overview and experience. "Jewels & Luxury and Kitchen & Design Days 2026 respond to this perfectly, with a high-quality offering in a setting that suits the image of these industries," Groot said.

Looking ahead to trade events Jewels & Luxury and Kitchen & Design Days
The trade events are tailored to the needs of the modern retail sector. For example, Jewels & Luxury focuses on the buying and selling of jewellery, jewellery, watches, sunglasses and other luxury wearable accessories and will be the industry's meeting place, highlighting the latest products and trends. "The trade event will be an exclusive B2B event in the luxury segment," explains Marieke Groot. "I look forward to connecting, inspiring and surprising the entire industry during this new trade fair." The first edition of Kitchen & Design Days will follow a week later. This trade fair focuses on the Home & Living segment and offers a wide, inspiring range in the mid- to high-end segment. "We inspire visitors with the latest products and trends, let them learn about the latest developments and offer plenty of networking opportunities," Groot said. "I look forward to further shaping these trade events into a strong new concept in the coming months."

Retail Fair 2025: the familiar conclusion of an era
Before the new model takes off in 2026, Trade Mart Utrecht welcomes its visitors to the Retail Fair autumn edition from 14 to 16 September 2025. With familiar segments like Jewels & Watches, Kitchen & Design and Fashion & Lifestyle, this remains the retail sector's buying moment. Marieke Groot: "We are closing 55 years of Retail Fair in style. A moment of looking back as well as forward. We are proud of our history, but even more excited about what is to come."
