Installation trade fair VSK shifts 25th edition to May 2022
Utrecht, 13 December 2021 - The jubilee edition of VSK, the trade fair for the installation sector, will shift to 17-20 May 2022. The Jaarbeurs has decided to do so in close consultation with the industry. At the moment, there are uncertainties for exhibitors and visitors about the duration of the national government's corona measures and their impact on the fair. But scarcity of materials, delivery times and uncertainty for international exhibitors also play a role. The fair was actually scheduled to take place from 8 to 11 February.
Albert Arp, CEO of the Royal Jaarbeurs: "We've had a lot of discussions with the industry and the outcome is that we are moving VSK a few months. This sector plays an incredibly important role in the energy transition, so the need to see and speak to each other is very great. We are confident that we can do that unconstrained in May."
The industry itself is strongly in favour of shifting. Remi Hompe, director of Binnenklimaat Nederland: "Binnenklimaat Nederland is pleased with the decision to postpone VSK to May. From Binnenklimaat Nederland, like our partners, we attach great importance to the safety and health of exhibitors and visitors, but the quantity and quality of the fair's visitors also had our attention. By postponing the fair, we will work together with the VSK organisation, participants and industry partners to ensure a safe and successful fair in May!"
"As NVKL, we naturally wanted nothing more than to inspire the industry and drive sustainability," said Coen van de Sande, director of NVKL. "As an industry association for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, we want to be able to present ourselves well at VSK as a knowledge and meeting centre. We are therefore particularly pleased to move the 25th edition of the VSK to May 2022."
And Henk Sijbring, chairman of the Dutch Heating Industry: "Corona presented us all with a serious dilemma. As partners, we consulted extremely constructively. How fantastic that the Jaarbeurs found this solution. The VSK trade fair is a highlight for the industry, the new date in May will surely contribute to an extra successful edition."

Joyce van de Hoef of the fair organisers is looking forward to the upcoming edition in May with confidence: "There are many developments and great initiatives within the installation sector and of course we want to show them off properly at VSK. The industry's need to meet and inspire each other live again is great. In May, we certainly have more guarantee that we will be able to put down another very nice edition of the VSK together. In any case, we can't wait."
