Utrecht, 12 November 2025 - Last week, Royal Jaarbeurs transformed into the meeting point for innovation and collaboration during the ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next trade shows. Over 300 exhibitors and 150 speakers presented ground-breaking solutions: from robot firsts and AI solutions to declarations of intent for a joint data structure. In doing so, ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next joined forces for the first time in an annual combined trade fair. A milestone for the sector. The motto 'Say yes to Future Logistics' emphasised that digital transformation is no longer future music, but is taking shape now. Reactions were unanimously positive: exhibitors praised the quality of encounters and the strategic nature of both fairs.
Valuable encounters leading to innovation
The largest logistics trade fairs in the Benelux region collectively welcomed 8,500 visitors. Corien den Ouden, exhibition manager: "Exhibitors are unanimously enthusiastic about the quality of the visitors and the conversations. That is exactly what this fair is all about: valuable meetings that lead to cooperation and innovation. Our survey shows that as many as 90 per cent of exhibitors plan to participate again next year. This confirms that ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next are the leading trade shows for the logistics sector in the Benelux."
Technology and chain transformation central
Robot firsts, AI solutions and digital resilience dominated the exhibition floor. There was also work on a common core set of primary data for logistics chains. Corien den Ouden, exhibition manager: "The convergence of technology, logistics and knowledge sharing emphasises that processes are changing ever faster. Those who don't move now will soon be behind." Exhibitors subscribe to this urgency. Exhibitor Christian Fiedler of Exotec: "Logistica Next brings together the right decision-makers and innovators. It is the place to present our latest Skypod® developments and engage with professionals who really understand the challenges we are solving. The energy and curiosity on the show floor made every meeting valuable."
Automation and intralogistics on the move
The dynamics on the exhibition floor showed that automation is evolving at lightning speed. Exhibitor Maaike Rotteveel of Jungheinrich: "Developments follow each other in quick succession, but we are also moving towards the entry-level segment of electric forklifts and pallet trucks. Logistica Next is the place to show AntOn as an exhibition first." Collaboration was also the focus. Exhibitor Daphne Lugtenborg of Toyota Material Handling stresses, "ICT&Logistics is the biggest event in the sector for us. For the first time, we presented together with Vanderlande and viastore under the banner of Toyota Automated Logistics Group. This is how we show how we support the entire chain."
From network to cooperation
Decision-makers and innovators made this edition valuable through impactful meetings. Corien den Ouden: "In a digital world, the physical exhibition floor remains the place where trust and cooperation arise. The first annual edition of Logistica Next was completely sold out and for next year more than 45 per cent of the space has already been reserved." The next edition of ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next will take place on 3 to 5 November 2026 at Royal Jaarbeurs.
