Utrecht 24 March 2025 - The KreaDoe Spring Festival, the Netherlands' leading creative lifestyle event, celebrates its fourth edition this year and is Royal Jaarbeurs's fastest-growing new event. From 11 to 13 April, creative enthusiasts of all generations will gather at Jaarbeurs to discover, learn and, above all, enjoy a day full of inspiration and relaxation.
Creativity connects generations
The KreaDoe Spring Festival brings young and old together through creativity. In a time when digital connections dominate, this festival offers a unique opportunity to make offline connections. The workshops, interviews and live meetings ensure that visitors not only learn new techniques, but can also be creative together and inspire each other.
Happiness and a digital detox
Marleen Rompen, exhibition manager Royal Jaarbeurs: "Being creative boosts your sense of happiness. Research shows that people who are artistically engaged score higher on happiness, well-being and the feeling of leading a meaningful life." The festival offers tools to relax during busy periods and acts as a digital detox. Visitors learn new creative techniques, attend inspiring workshops and can purchase the latest creative and lifestyle items on site to continue working at home. This stimulates the younger generation in particular to get offline again and (re)discover the power of creativity. By taking a break from digital screens and focusing entirely on manual and creative activities, KreaDoe offers a much-needed form of relaxation and mental rest.
Meeting influencers live
This year, the KreaDoe Spring Festival will bring the online world to life by bringing influencers such as CreaChick, Jill's Originals and Dear Merlin to the festival. Visitors will have the chance to meet their favourite creative makers in person, ask questions and get creative together.
New: the KreaDoe Book
To continue the creativity beyond the festival, this year KreaDoe is launching the KreaDoeBoek for the first time. This inspiration book contains creative projects, useful tips & tricks and interviews. This way, visitors can work on new creative challenges throughout the spring and summer and different generations will stay connected through creativity.
