Utrecht, 31 March 2022 - CFO of Royal Jaarbeurs Franka Morssink will join the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Care from 1 July 2022. She will be succeeded at Jaarbeurs by Pascal van Gool, who will join Jaarbeurs from 1 June 2022. Van Gool is currently CFO of VolkerRail Netherlands.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Evert Greup: "We are very grateful to Franka for the past years, during which Jaarbeurs has become a financially healthy organisation. Over the past two years, some of the previously nicely built-up reserves were returned due to the effects of the corona pandemic. However, the financial position was so solid that we were able to fully realise the intended investments in digitalisation and sustainability during that time. Pascal van Gool, together with the new CEO Jeroen van Hooff and COO Heiko M. Stutzinger, face a tremendous challenge to both continue the fine development up to and including 2019, and to realise the ambitious plans for a New Jaarbeurs."

Morssink: "I have dedicated myself with great energy and pleasure to Jaarbeurs and its VNU subsidiaries for almost six years. It is a wonderful company with great economic and social significance for the city and region. Jaarbeurs is in good shape despite the pandemic and can look to the future with confidence. I hand over the baton and choose a very meaningful challenge at Philadelphia. Over 8,000 employees who are ready every day to help people with a mental disability live as independently as possible, that is what I would like to contribute to in the coming years."

New CFO Pascal van Gool (55) studied Business Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and trained as a Registered Controller at VU University Amsterdam. He worked in various financial positions including for Dutch Railways and KLM, before becoming CFO of VolkerRail Netherlands in 2017.

Franka Morssink will remain acting CEO of Royal Jaarbeurs until 1 July 2022. Jeroen van Hooff will succeed her as CEO from that date.
