Utrecht, 18 December 2025 - The manufacturing industry is marking a milestone: TechniShow, the largest trade fair for industrial production techniques in the Benelux, will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2026. From 10 to 13 March, Royal Jaarbeurs will once again be the beating heart of innovation, craftsmanship and cooperation.
Since its first edition in 1951, TechniShow has grown to become the platform where professionals meet, share knowledge and discover the latest technologies. Where the show lasted a week and a half then, it now offers an unrivalled overview of production techniques, machining processes and smart solutions in four days.
Scoop: ESEF Maakindustrie at the heart of TechniShow
The anniversary year brings an important innovation: ESEF Maakindustrie, for 57 years the leading event for supply and product development, will for the first time take place fully co-located in the heart of TechniShow. This makes the power of chain cooperation visible and tangible. Ricardo Vivas van Leeuwen, Cluster Manager Manufacturing & Logistics at Jaarbeurs, emphasises the importance of this step: "TechniShow has been the meeting place for the manufacturing industry for 75 years. By placing ESEF Maakindustrie literally at the heart of the fair, we are creating an environment where innovation and cooperation go hand in hand. This edition promises more experience, more depth and more connection than ever."
Looking ahead: new theme squares and young talent
Besides celebrating the past, TechniShow 2026 is all about the future. New strategic theme squares provide depth in current themes, while the FPT Factory of the Future returns. Young talent will also be given a stage with a special programme on Tuesday and Thursday, including workshops, challenges and inspiring influencers. Ires Veerman, Branch Manager FPT & NEVAT, explains: "The strength of TechniShow lies in bringing the whole chain together. With initiatives such as the Factory of the Future and the Young Talent programme, we show that the manufacturing industry is ready for tomorrow's challenges."
Festive opening and Innovation Awards
The fair opens daily at 10.00 am. On Tuesday 10 March, the programme kicks off festively at 12.00 hrs with an official opening ceremony and inspiring speakers. The presentation of the prestigious Innovation Awards will take place on Thursday 12 March at 14.00 hrs. Hall 10 will be transformed into an interactive experience hall, where visitors will not only see technology, but also experience it themselves.
