Utrecht has it all: it buzzes with knowledge, innovation and social commitment. Moreover, hotels and public transport are within walking distance and the city is tremendously cosy. Of course, we have known this for years. And fortunately we are no longer the only ones, because more and more international congresses and events are now taking place in Utrecht. A few in particular:
International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare
It was one of the goals of the Utrecht Congress Alliance: to bring the prestigious International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare to Utrecht. And we succeeded! From 21 to 23 May, it took place in Jaarbeurs. The congress attracted thousands of healthcare professionals from all over the world. With more than 100 sessions spread over three days, it was a popular congress that people will talk about for a long time to come.
European Microwave Week
Although the name suggests otherwise, this event is not about microwaves. It is, however, the congress on microwave technology and radio communication. Due to corona, it was temporarily postponed, but fortunately it is now really going ahead: in September in Jaarbeurs. With sessions on several floors and an expo in the halls, the organisation is making optimal use of our location. We are looking forward to it!
Innovation for Health
Another newcomer to Utrecht: the Innovation for Health. Previously organised in Rotterdam, now to the heart of the Netherlands. The congress focuses on the future of healthcare. Under the theme "Bridging the Gap - From Patent to Patient", more than 800 innovators, investors and policymakers will come together. It promises to be a substantive programme full of inspiration, unique pitches and international sessions.
