Every year, about 600 children in the Netherlands get cancer. Still one in four children with cancer dies from this disease. The Princess Máxima Centre concentrates all highly complex care and research in paediatric oncology. Its mission is to cure every child with cancer, with optimal quality of life. Close cooperation between care and research will lead to more cures for children with cancer. With fewer adverse effects later in life. As Jaarbeurs, we support this mission of our fellow townsman with heart and soul.
We dedicate ourselves in various ways to raising funds for our partner, the Princess Máxima Centre for Paediatric Oncology. For example, during exhibitions and events there are special collection points for deposit bottles, the proceeds of which go to the Princess Máxima Centre, and visitors can make a donation when buying their exhibition ticket. We are also happy to make our knowledge and resources available when the Máxima Centre wants to organise an event.

GamesSpeak
During this fair, the SpellenSpektakel organisation donated 4,000 euros worth of games to the Princess Máxima Centre. They also made a stand available where awareness was created and additional donations could be collected.

KreaDoe Spring Festival
During the KreaDoe Spring Festival, we organised a raffle with great prizes donated by exhibitors at the fair. The entire proceeds of the lottery tickets sold went to the Princess Máxima Centre. Together with donations from ticket sales, an amount of over 2,500 euros was raised during this fair.

Running campaign employees of Jaarbeurs
Every year, Jaarbeurs employees organise one big action. In 2021, this was MÁXIMAal in Actie, where employees cycled, walked, ran and swam in action and collectively covered 2,700 km. Thanks to everyone who supported this action, we raised over 24,000 euros.
