In the winter of 2027, a new annual trade event for the European Smart City Industry will take place at the Royal Jaarbeurs: ESCE. The climate-neutral and smart city encompasses living, working and recreation, as well as mobility, climate resilience, social and cultural attractiveness and healthy aging.

Ensuring a sustainable living environment requires an integrated approach where the interdependencies and mutual influences of all sectors are well-coordinated. Digitalization is essential for this. The shared shortage of manpower and resources underscores this necessity. The development of smart, resilient cities thus forms a solid foundation for innovative entrepreneurship at the intersection of digitalization and sustainability.
