The Last Stage

The peloton is racing over cols, along cobbles and through rainy arrivals for now this season. There are still jerseys to be won, dreams to be dashed and surprises to emerge. But slowly the cycling year is creeping towards that inevitable moment when everything comes together. Where the race no longer looks forward, but back.

On 2 November, De Laatste Etappe returns to the Beatrix Theatre in Utrecht. A special theatre evening with music, the presentation of the cycling awards and a live cycling talk show with prominent figures and eye-catchers from the peloton. The stories behind the results. The silences after the finish. The unexpected heroes, the breakthroughs, the suffering and the beauty of a sport that can never be tamed.

The protagonists get to speak: the riders who rode the races, the team managers behind the scenes and the analysts. Frank conversations, surprising revelations and memorable looks back at a season full of attacks and decisive moments. But it starts even before the curtain rises. In the foyer and fan zone, you come face to face with top brands and riders.

Sport, culture and emotion under one roof, as only cycling can. An evening for everyone who really experiences cycling: fans, insiders and everyone who wants to end the 2026 season as it should be. Together and in style. With, among others, José De Cauwer, Blaudzun and Sander Kleikers. More guests will be announced in the course of the summer.
