In 2026, ‘Als Alles Duister Is’ returns with a special evening of communal singing at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. What began as a time for listening and exploring has, over recent years, evolved into evenings where people come not only to listen, but above all to sing together.

On 4 September, centuries-old psalms, spiritual songs and familiar melodies will ring out once more in a new musical language, carried by thousands of voices. Led by Sefa and his musicians, the evening will be filled with wonder, togetherness and hope, offering space for silence, recognition and fellowship.
