Coming to Jaarbeurs safely

Update December, 1st, 1 PM

On Friday November 26, the Dutch government has announced some strict measures to fight the corona virus and to lighten the pressure on the health care system. These measures will apply until at least Sunday 19 December. The government will reassess the situation on Tuesday 14 December. We are currently identifying which activities can take place in accordance with the new guidelines. You will find the latest information on this webpage.

A corona entry pass (proof of vaccination, proof of recent recovery of corona or a recent negative test) in combination with an ID remains required for all our activities. In addition, it is mandatory to keep a distance of 1.5 metres. Visitors must wear a face mask when moving around in public areas.

We are currently in contact with the organisers to decide which activities can take place in accordance with the new guidelines. Fortunately we are able to move most of the meetings to larger meeting rooms.

Unfortunately some activitities cannot take place:

Vakantiebeurs, which would take place from January 12 to 16, 2022 in Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, has been cancelled. Travel Congress will take place, be it as an online version. For more information, read the whole news article.

Thunderdome has been moved to next year (10 December 2022). Please visit the website of Thunderdome for more information.

Covid access passes

We are delighted to be able to organise events again. The safety of our visitors, customers and employees is paramount.

From 25 September, we are obliged to check all visitors to our buildings hold a Covid access pass. Besides the fact that this is an obligation, we also believe that this is an important step forward in safely bringing together exhibitors and visitors.

Kiwa COVID-19 certification

Jaarbeurs is the first event venue in the Netherlands to receive the “preventative measures against COVID-19” certification from certification institute Kiwa. Recently, Kiwa has evaluated the measures that Jaarbeurs has taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. With this certification, Jaarbeurs can demonstrate that it orgsanises trade shows, conventions and other events in accordance with the strictest possible safety standards.
