Drukbezochte vakbeurzen TechniShow en ESEF Maakindustrie bol van innovaties en waardevolle business leads

Utrecht, 20 maart 2024 – De vakbeurzen TechniShow en ESEF Maakindustrie van Koninklijke Jaarbeurs zijn zeer succesvol afgesloten. TechniShow telde 29.337 bezoekers en ESEF Maakindustrie 12.646 bezoekers. Daarmee zijn de vakbeurzen samen het grootste platform in de Benelux op het gebied van industriële productietechnologie, verwerking en bewerking van metalen, kunststoffen, toebehoren en hulpmiddelen. Ricardo Vivas, beursmanager: “Het bruiste op de beursvloer. De interesse in nieuwe oplossingen en technieken was enorm. Ook zijn er veel machines verkocht en orders getekend. Nederland loopt voorop in de maakindustrie omdat we wendbaar zijn, maar ook omdat we openstaan voor nieuwe technieken."

Vooruitstrevende ondernemers benutten volop kansen
TechniShow en ESEF Maakindustrie stonden in het teken van vernieuwende, slimme en duurzame oplossingen. Met het thema ‘De Maakindustrie van Morgen’ pakten ruim 276 exposanten op TechniShow en 155 exposanten op ESEF Maakindustrie groots uit met machines en demonstraties om hun innovaties, nieuwe technieken en oplossingen te laten zien. Ricardo Vivas: "Ik zie dat de Nederlandse maakindustrie zich aan het heroriënteren is. Na jaren van hele hoge hoeveelheden productie, komt er een tijd om te kijken: wat nu? Ondernemers staan open voor vernieuwing, zijn vooruitstrevend en zien volop kansen. Die gretigheid van onze ondernemers in de industrie is bijzonder.”

Clubhuis van de maakindustrie
Ook exposanten kijken tevreden terug. Hendrik Meijer, directeur Meijer Group: “Deelname aan de ESEF Maakindustrie zorgde opnieuw voor waardevolle leads. Bestaande klanten nemen tegenwoordig hun engineers mee naar de beurs, dat zorgde voor waardevolle gesprekken over het productieproces. We kijken terug op een succesvolle editie.” Ook voor exposant Hugo Oude Reimer was TechniShow een waardevolle editie. “Als je ziet hoeveel innovaties en machines hier zijn en hoeveel mensen hier langskomen, merk je dat de behoefte van bezoekers groot is om de maakindustrie te zien. Je bent hier gewoon in het clubhuis van de maakindustrie. Dit concept is een voorbode voor 2026.”

Van vrouwen in de maakindustrie tot een heuse fabriek
TechniShow en ESEF Maakindustrie bieden gezamenlijk een podium waar bedrijfsleven, onderzoek, onderwijs en overheid elkaar treffen, voor demonstraties, innovaties en netwerkmomenten. Eén van de highlights van TechniShow was de uniek werkende fabriek die voor het eerst op de beursvloer werd getoond waarbij negen verschillende partijen een heuse geïntegreerde productieautomatisering opzette. Ook werd het themaplein Additive Manufacturing goed bezocht waarbij bezoekers het hele 3D-proces konden zien. De animo voor de sessie over 'Vrouwen in de maakindustrie' was groot. Ricardo Vivas: “Vrouwen spelen een groeiende rol in de maakindustrie. Ze bekleden leidinggevende posities, doen ingenieurswerk en zijn betrokken bij geavanceerde technologische ontwikkelingen. Heel belangrijk dus om deze vrouwen op de beursvloer een podium te bieden."

De volgende TechniShow en ESEF Maakindustrie vinden plaats van dinsdag 10 tot en met vrijdag 13 maart 2026 in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs.

Future Facade: new European trade event for the facade industry at Royal Jaarbeurs

Royal Jaarbeurs has announced a new biennial trade event in spring 2025 for the European facade industry: Future Facade. The quest to achieve a circular facade industry requires international knowledge sharing and cooperation. Complementing an existing portfolio of trade fairs in the building sector that includes BouwBeurs, VSK and DigiBouw, Royal Jaarbeurs is launching this new event in partnership with the European Facade Network (EFN), TU Delft and TU Darmstadt. Future Facade will bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, with themes such as digitalisation, industrialisation and circularity taking centre stage. TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and EFN will also organise an international conference on the topic of circularity in the facade industry to run simultaneously with the trade fair. Future Facade will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May 2025 in Royal Jaarbeurs.

Utrecht fully committed to attracting leading international congresses

Royal Jaarbeurs introduces Sustainability Pledge

Utrecht, 9 February 2024 - Royal Jaarbeurs is taking an ambitious step towards becoming Europe's most sustainable event organiser and facilitator by 2030. An ambition that can only be realised if forces are combined. This is why Jaarbeurs is introducing the Sustainability Pledge. By signing this Pledge, Jaarbeurs and its exhibitors promise to take their responsibility and make every effort to organise trade fairs as sustainably as possible. Today, the first exhibitors signed the Pledge during the biennial trade fair VSK 2024. Jaarbeurs is launching trade fairs in the construction and installation sector with the ambition of a circular BouwBeurs in 2027 and a circular VSK in 2028.

Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs wins gold award for Best Congress Venue for second time in a row

Royal Jaarbeurs sells its share in VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd in China to Advent International

Utrecht, 1 February 2024 –Royal Jaarbeurs operates outside of Europe in countries as diverse as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the UAE and Rwanda with renowned international events such as VIV, ILDEX and HORTI AGRI NEXT. The company has until now also been active in China via its shares in VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd (VNU EA). Now, following a strategic reorientation, Jaarbeurs has sold its 70% share in VNU EA in China to Advent International, a major player in the global private equity sector, on 1 February. Royal Jaarbeurs will continue to develop, organise and facilitate national and international events from Utrecht and via VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific in Bangkok.
