Royal Jaarbeurs launches Health and Innovation Asia 2024

Utrecht, 14 September 2023 – VNU Asia Pacific, a daughter company of Royal Jaarbeurs, has launched the Health and Innovation Asia 2024 trade show in Thailand. This brand-new health-tech event will be held in Bangkok from 11 to 13 September and is set to become a key meeting place for thousands of Asian care professionals. Its primary focus will be on the digital transformation of the care sector with the goal of contributing to sustainable and future-proof health care in Asia.

“Royal Jaarbeurs is highly interconnected with both the Dutch and the international economy,” comments CEO Jeroen van Hooff. “The market in Asia is very promising and we’re taking our (inter)national events there while bringing interesting Asian titles to Europe. With its own office in Bangkok, Jaarbeurs serves as the ‘gateway to Asia’ along with destinations as diverse as Vietnam, Turkey, China, the Philippines, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.”

Understanding the market
Jaarbeurs has for decades been organising the trade show Zorg & ICT: the largest annual health tech event in the Netherlands where care professionals discover how to successfully apply the latest innovations and work together on a future-proof care sector. For the organisation of Health and Innovation Asia 2024, Jaarbeurs has teamed up with the renowned trade show Thailand Lab.
“The combination of our rich experience in organising trade shows, our knowledge of the innovative care sector and the expertise of partner Thailand Lab means we are in an ideal position to introduce a premium-quality event for Asian care professionals in Bangkok,” explains Van Hooff. “Being present on two continents means we can create a unique platform for exchanging know-how and international cooperation. We offer both Dutch and Asian exhibitors the opportunity to expand their horizons, share knowledge and come into contact with international care professionals.”

More than an exhibition
Zorg & ICT is also partner of the Dutch Health Week, the largest health care sector event in the Netherlands where thousands of professionals and organisations from care and life sciences come together to share their expertise at a range of events. Van Hooff: “The care industry benefits enormously from joining forces in this way and that’s why Health and Innovation Asia 2024 will become part of Bangkok Health Week. This will ensure that all care and life science experts are in the same place at the same time, working together to future-proof health care in Asia.”
