TINA - The Tina Turner Musical will be performed again in the Beatrix Theatre Utrecht. The first show will be at 1 November. The musical about the life of the "Queen of Rock 'n Roll" Tina Turner had a successful premiere in February, but was forced to stop in March due to the outbreak of the corona virus.
Producer Stage Entertainment sees the opportunity to restart the musical fully corona proof. The cast will start with rehearseling in September and will play its first performance on November 1. The premiere of the musical is on November 8.
Adjustments in the theatre
In order to allow the audience to watch the show corona proof, various adjustments are made in the Beatrix Theatre Utrecht. For example, a maximum of 450 seats (one third of the room capacity) will be used to guarantee the 1.5 meters distance. Visitors can enter the theatre via diferrent entrances and the catering will be in the foyers.
The performance will retain its original form, with a number of necessary adjustments, to ensure that the protocol requirements and RIVM regulations are followed without affecting the content and quality of the production.
