Jaarbeurs-Jaarbeurs will be the first stage of the Tour de France 2015. Both the start and the finish will be just outside.
From July 2-5, the Jaarbeurs and the city of Utrecht will be celebrating the start of the biggest sporting event in the world in a festive manner. The first two stages of the Tour de France will take place on Saturday July 4 and Sunday July 5, starting on the Saturday with a short time trial through Utrecht city centre. The start of the second stage, finishing at Neeltje Jans in Zeeland, on the Sunday, will also take place here.
Jaarbeurs has a lot of experience with large and international sporting events. The Jaarbeurs Utrecht Marathon and EYOF (European Youth Olympic Festival) were previously supported by Jaarbeurs. We also know a thing or two about cycling. In 2010, Jaarbeurs was founding partner of the Giro d'Italia. The Bike MOTION Benelux trade show, later this year, shows that Jaarbeurs itself organizes a great event for sport-loving cyclists.
