Major publishers and small, independent makers will introduce you to their latest games. Demonstrators will be present to help you get started, so you don't have to struggle through long rules first. Just sit down and get started, that's the idea.

You can choose from a wide range: fast-paced card games, extensive board games, strategy games or just something light-hearted for in between. Try well-known titles or discover something new. CardCon has become a familiar part of the Spellenspektakel. Since its introduction in 2024, this special section has developed into the place for trading card game lovers. Whether you are a fan of Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Lorcana or any other trading card game - at CardCon you can enter tournaments, take part in casual play sessions or trade with other players.

There will be demonstrations of new sets, experts getting you started with deckbuilding and plenty of opportunity to meet other players. For both experienced players and curious beginners, CardCon is a valuable and lively addition to the Games Spectacle.

Besides playing, there is also plenty of room to look around, ask questions or have a chat with creators and other enthusiasts. At the game shops, you can find a wide range of games, expansions and accessories. Have you played something you like? Then you can often take it home straight away.
